Oh my, that was John. With a girl with a pink parasol,
Now who was that?
She orchestrated the summer school
I was teaching at.

She was trim and attractive under her parasol,
Was Suzanne from Vienna.
Eddie, old sinner, was no fool
When he bedded her.

It was sweet to talk with Suzanne under her parasol.
You would hardly credit
How little it takes to console
The long-term wedded.

Do Milton and Beverley ever recall the parasol
That caught their eye?
So pink, so pretty, so out-for-a stroll,
Oh my.
