That sweet distinctive
Mango shango
Imbibe, inhale
A fragrant tango
In quarts, peeled, slurped, sucked whole
Nectar of gods
Indulge my soul.
While I savour
your familiar flavour
Chosha, Fojlee, Lengra gold
Irresistible and bold
Mouths mingle
with tasty tingle
As delicate, delicious converge
textures, touches merge
a lustful surge
seducing this urge.

Delightful morsels,
yellow, orange tease
temptations with ease.
Tongues, lips
gorge the golden
shonali sight
unsung delight
of succulent aam.
unique ghraan
on gooey palm.

The perfume
of breezy orchards
infiltrates our heat
as our breaths meet
You penetrate me
with that heady aroma
Of familiar childhoods
Grown-up escapes
Midday breaks
Soaking jhorna rains
Hot siesta days.

Dripping, oozing, arms and face
Licked with your expert grace.

Our desires erect
gorging the juicy wet
as I forget
myself
in the tropical riches
of our bounty.
